Welcome to Culinaria Creyde! This is our first posting... embarking on new food and landscape adventures. Tonights endeavor took place in the smallest kitchen in Brooklyn. Currant and blueberry scones... a first for Culinaria Creyde. Stay tuned for further adventures!
As a "very" pregnant friend just sitting around waiting for the labor to begin, I can't tell you how much I would like to try one of these scones...let me know if you need my mailing address. Hint!
i will gladly drop whatever i am doing & bike over whenever you need help gobbling up these late nite cooking adventures from your tres charming kitchen! you go girl!
Yammy Scones! I bet the most exciting moment of baking is when the pale dough start turn into rich fragrance of berry & bread in the oven. And the smell start roll the entire room with happiness. I love baked goodies.
Hmm, I think you've already done two of your three goals (mayonnaise, what was the other one?) in no time. These were delicious, perfect (Amdo liked his too). And I love seeing your photos again - the eggs reminded me of the loft and of the the silhouette against the windows.
I made another half batch this weekend that was far superior to the first. They had better form and more berries. I think half batch is better strategy, as they aren't that great after the second day.
Get ready for fall harvest and lots of adventures with pork!
What is Creyde anyways?
Creyde is a name inspired by my Brazilian friend Josy Nascimento. Creyde is a woman who loves all the most fun and decadent things in life... cooking, dancing forró, kissing the men, etc. Always laughing!
